We found out during our meetings that the bride has a lifelong love of Peter Pan and had loosely based her wedding colour scheme (green, white and yellow) on the theme. We decided to step it up and give her an engagement shoot that would make her feel like she was actually in a fairy tale, but still provide images that they would be happy to share.
Because the location for this shoot (which we actually stumbled upon by accident) was so utterly perfect, we didn’t really need to do too much in the space so we decided to emphasise the details.
Everyone who’s read Peter Pan (or watched the movie) will know what there are various elements that repeat throughout the story. We wanted to showcase those elements in a way that people would notice without it being too obvious.
With the desserts, we decided to go for home style desserts, almost the sort of treats you would find in grandmas kitchen and the natural moss covered rocks were the perfect place for us to showcase the amazingness that was our eats.
We were so lucky to once again work with some awesome suppliers and the final product was perfection! Even if we do say so ourselves!
